Owl Door Decoration

I'm owl excited about my theme this year!!! As I walked around I noticed a couple or teachers with the owl theme, so no tree full of owls on the door for me. I decided make an owl using the entire door instead. :)

    The head is pictured above. 

I couldn't get a really good shot of the full door because the teacher across the hall wasn't there. Maybe I can get a better picture soon. I showed my 4 year old nephew this picture. He said, "Ohhh! I want to walk through that door!" I hope my new kiddies feel the same. :)

Owl Paper Lanterns

This year I chose to use the "owl" theme for my classroom. I purchase some things, but I also like to make my own supplies to be unique. While searching the internet, I came across the paper owl lanterns...cute!!! I had to give it a try, so here's what I ended up with.  

The materials I used to make my owls. The lanterns are not pictured, but I purchased them from Dollar Tree.
